Watched an interesting movie last night – The Invitation. Great character study on individuals that have been through trauma and how they deal with it, but with a thriller twist that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The setting is a dinner party hosted by a man’s ex-wife and her new husband. The main character along with the ex-wife’s mutual friends, who have not see the ex in two years, have been invited to a dinner party to reconnect. What happens during the dinner party arouses suspicions in the ex-husband as to why they all are there. Very interesting take on dealing with grief. Sometimes we go to extreme lengths to cope.
