Hi, I’m Christy Deaver and I write The Woodland Girl blog. This blog is a place where I share my ideas and opinions on topics ranging from art, books, movies, food, simple gardening tips and home decorating by creatively re-purposing furniture. I am a self proclaimed foodie and love sharing my experiences with eating out or cooking in. I started The Woodland Girl blog in 2013.
I am married to my high school sweetheart and mother of two wonderful girls. While raising my family, I have spent over eighteen years in higher education, where I have enjoyed seeing people find themselves a new path in life.
